Join us for this interactive forum focused on the range of motor and non-motor Parkinson’s symptoms that may impact our ability to stay active and connected to ourselves and our loved ones.  Speakers to include a panel of Parkinson’s experts including, Dr. Rebecca Gilbert  and Amy C. Lemen, LCSW, of the NYU Parkinson & Movement Disorder Center; Karen Riedel, CCC-SLP of the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine; Virgen Luce, LCSW of the NYU Silver School of Social Work and individuals living with Parkinson’s.  

Afternoon break-out workshops will include:

 

  • PD Nia: Movement and Music Jam for the whole family - with Caroline Kohles
  • Staying in Touch with Calming Yoga - with Whitney Chapman
  • A Parkinson’s Unity Walk Preview – an amazing Aikido demo with Ken Marvin and family
