A New Drug XPro1595 May Slow Progression of Parkinson’s Disease


(August 6, 2014) – A team at Emory University showed the anti-inflammatory drug known as XPro1595 was able to protect neurons and therefore reduced motor deficits in rats. The drug was injected subcutaneously, which differed from prior experiments where it was injected directly into the brain.
